This initial scoping report takes stock of major international climate finance initiatives (non-exhaustive) focused on the electric vehicle ecosystem that are ongoing in India to better understand the type and quantum of finance being deployed, its purposes, and to identify opportunities for strengthening the financial mechanisms and framework for India to achieve the outcomes of road transport decarbonisation and ZEV market transformation.
